Dilek Tıkız was born and raised in Germany and after successfully graduating from High School, she was entitled to study at Georg-August Göttingen University Faculty of Law.

​

After moving to Turkey in 2012, she has continued her studies at Yasar University School of Law and graduated in 2016 with success.

​

Following the mandatory law internship, she registered to the Izmir Bar Association in 2017. 

​

Later on, she started her studies at the Maastricht University European Law master's program. In 2019, Dilek Tıkız completed her master's degree with success and wrote her thesis on "Geo-blocking" in European Union Competition Law, whereby she obtained her LL.M. degree.

​

To provide a more comprehensive international service, she began an undergraduate degree in International Relations at Anadolu University in 2019.

​

Specializing in European Union Law, Competition Law, and mergers and acquisitions in this context, Dilek Tıkız has also developed herself in German, English, and Turkish legal terminology worked on different projects in this field and became a sworn translator in 2020.
